The IDEAL 4002 is a high capacity office shredder capable of running until its 200 litre bin is filled. The 400mm wide feed is enough to feed any standard format of paper for cutting into strips or into 4 x 40mm or 2 x 15mm particles on the cross cut versions. While the basic version is rated at Security level P2, the cross units rate level P4 and level P5. The powerful 1300w motor will drive the hardened steel shafts to chew through CDs and 40 sheets of 70gsm paper at one time. A transparent safety flap will prevent unauthorised items falling accidentally into the shredder.

Operation is via an Easy Switch function which is linked to a photo cell for automatic stop and start of the motor.
The IDEAL Easy Switch controls the operation of the IDEAL 4002 shredder, providing a visual indication of its operating status. The safety flap prevents unwanted items entering the shredder while automatic stop functions are activated when the paper jams, when the door is opened or when the 200 litre bag is full. On stand by mode, the shredder begins operation when the photo cell detects paper and stops again when the paper has been fed. The 400mm opening will accept up to 41 sheets of 70gsm paper as well as sheets up to a full A3 wide. The 1300w motor and gearbox are enclosed to prevent contamination by paper dust. The bag is suspended on a supported pull out mechanism for easy unloading of filled bags.
