Thinking about purchasing a Used / Pre-owned Machine?

Buying a Used / Pre-owned print finishing machine can be a good decision, but money spent on a machine that does not work correctly or is missing some parts is a waste of money.

Here are a few things you should consider before buying privately, on auction sites or from unknown sellers:

1. Do the sellers know what they're selling?
   

2. Can they show you the machine fully working?

3. How long have the sellers been in business?

4. After you have purchased the machine do the sellers give any guarantee?

5. Will the machine be fully cleaned and serviced?

6. Are instruction manuals supplied with the machine?

7. Do the sellers actually own the machine? (Beware of machines with finance remaining)

8. If you are buying a guillotine does it comply with the latest HSE regulations, and does it come with a  Health and Safety certificate.
