Castle & Design Print in Derbyshire is a complete print and design service offering short and long run printing.

They were looking for some print finishing equipment for the brand new print shop and decided on a mix of both new machines and used/pre-owned machines for the perfect package.

The pre-owned Ideal 4850-95 EP guillotine was the perfect choice for them, it will cut a full ream of 500 sheets of paper with very high level of accuracy, clamping, cutting and releasing in just 3 seconds.

All of our used / pre-owned guillotines are cleaned, serviced, tested and prepared for sale by expert engineers in our Stony Stratford workshop and all electric guillotines are supplied with a HSE certificate.

A booklet maker was their next requirement and we had a used / pre-owned Plockmatic 60 benchtop model in stock in very good condition.  This powerful and extremely quiet booklet maker is ideal for any user needing on demand booklets. Simply insert your booklet, up to 22 sheets then the machine will put in two staples and fold the booklet in one operation, the only binding cost is the two staples per booklet making it a super cheap way to produce staple and folded booklets. Finally the MAG 46 manual card creaser completed the package, this creaser is designed for fast set up and easy operation, with a 460mm creasing width it will efficiently crease paper and card up to 350gsm. The fibre in the card is compressed between creasing rule and matrix. The steel rule forces the card into the matrix channel bonding the fibres together and the crushing action is a process proven to eliminate cracking.
